Seer build guide

A hybrid class split between Reverent support with a Catalyst and Blasphemer dueling with a Mace. Reverent is the launch roster's clearest healer; Blasphemer gives up much of that team utility for drain, gap closing, and burst windows.

Should you pick Seer?

Two doctrines, two different jobs

Pick Seer for coordinated Trio support or because switching between healer and duelist sounds rewarding. Do not pick it expecting an effortless first class: resource planning, rune placement, and path commitment matter.

Evidence limit: the launch Seer source had complete skill and affix descriptions, but its detailed recommended ability builds were still marked “coming soon.” This page therefore gives starter priorities rather than pretending one solved best build exists.

Editorial fit · five-point scale

Seer ratings by mode

These scores describe how naturally the launch kit fits each job. They are not measured win rates, and a practiced specialist can outperform the ordering.

Solo 2/5

Reverent wastes much of its team utility. Blasphemer is more self-sufficient, but the overall class remains a harder Solo start.

Trio 5/5

A coordinated team can convert healing, shields, and runes into extra fight time that no pure damage class provides.

PvE 4/5

Sustain is valuable in long encounters, but the team must protect a Reverent setup from direct pressure.

PvP 4/5

Reverent changes attrition math; Blasphemer can surprise a target, but neither path is forgiving when its plan is interrupted.

Tradeoffs first

Strengths and limits

A useful class guide should tell you what the kit cannot solve as clearly as what it does well.

What the kit gives you

  • Reverent provides the roster's clearest healing and team-rune identity
  • Constructs, shields, knockbacks, and control reward planned positioning
  • Blasphemer adds self-healing and chase tools for a very different matchup profile
  • The class can change doctrine between missions to match the team or mode

What you must manage

  • Reverent damage is low and depends on teammates to protect its setup
  • The two paths cannot be used together during a mission
  • Blasphemer's selfish pressure gives up much of Reverent's team value

Seer paths

The fastest useful build decision is the branch. Skills, Talents, affixes, and team role become clearer after that.

Team support

Reverent · Catalyst

Healing Rune and Shelter Rune sustain a team while Intimidation Rune or Binding Rune protects the setup. Heals have limited uses, so route and fight pacing matter.

Aggressive duelist

Blasphemer · Mace

Rune: Drain adds self-healing, Rune: Ankle Cut controls movement, and Unleash Zeal creates the short window where the Mace path wants to commit.

Best for
Solo experimentation, gap closing, burst windows

First progression plan

Starter build order

  1. Choose your doctrine for the next mission before spending points or assembling gear.
  2. On Reverent, place runes where the fight will move, not only where it begins.
  3. Preserve limited healing for decisive exchanges instead of repairing every small mistake.
  4. On Blasphemer, play around Zeal and Drain rather than extending a fight after the burst window.

Practical answers

Seer questions

Is Seer a healer?

Reverent Seer is the roster's clearest support and healing path. Blasphemer uses a Mace and shifts toward self-healing, chase, and personal burst instead.

Can Seer use Reverent and Blasphemer skills together?

No. The launch guide describes the player committing to one path for a mission, though changing paths between missions lets the class adapt to a different role.

Sorcerer

Win the fight before it reaches you

A ranged caster with Elemental and Stardust schools plus a shared set of barriers, stealth, scouting, and escape magic. Sorcerer brings excellent area control and backline damage, but chants, cooldowns, and low durability punish poor positioning.
